The beginning of the end

Sounds rather pessimistic, the title of my blog, but I guess if you're the type that prefers to say a glass is half full instead of half empty, it means that the semester is ending and after the exams, we can all sit back for a while and reflect on the progress made during the semester and improve on it. Hell no!!!

We should all come out and play and do all sorts of things we want to do during the semester but cound't find the time for. Ya ha!!! I must be going mad. Oh well... Recently, I've ben trying to clear report after report (actually only FYP and ID report) and also the building of our horribly weak bridge. We tested it during our Structures 2 lesson in the Protective Engineering and it failed due to overall instablity. The load placed on it was such an embarassment I would prefer not to reveal it online or ever in my life.

Now I'm taking a lttle breather when my ID (integrated design) report. Been working on it since Friday because it is due on Mon (171005). Sigh. Will be skipping lessons to make sure everything was in order before I print it out, bind it at the CEE photostating shop and handing it in. I do not even know which professor to hand it in to. Sigh. Well, this is the life of a stewpig struggling student. That's me.

After this report, I'll be able to fully concentrate on my catching up of tutorials and revision of lectures. Been skipping way too many lecures for my level of comfort, but sometimes the body is stronger than the mind. Anyway this is the first time I'm posting on my blog from a mac, so besides an icon with "ABC" and the "add picture" icon, I do not see anything else.

Seems like internet pages do appear differently on different OS platforms.
