Another lazy day spent shopping for windows at Suntec City when my tired legs & sweet tooth craving got the better of me. So while Yuri went to get some Ice Blended from Coffee Bean, CunningDevil went next door (Ben & Jerry's) to get some really really expensive ice cream.
SGD$12 for three scoops!!! Even Haagen Dazs is not that expensive. I remember sharing a similar item at the branch at Jurong Point & it only cost SGD$8 (I think). A little bit on the history & flavours of this wonderful brand of ice cream.
Nevertheless, their ice cream is in a class above the rest & worth every penny or cent or whatever currency you prefer. Could not remember the flavours we had that day, but I was very very satisfied!!!

The legless pussy cat
Mana123 & I were hungry one particular night & we decided to meet up for supper. We were sick of going Jalan Kayu for the overhyped prata & so we went to our old favourite hangout. A coffeeshop near Punggol Park. As I was eating my sinful supper, something caught my eye!!!. It was a cat but it had no legs!!! It slithered across the floor like a snake or rolled around when it feels like it. OMG!!! It looks like a freak of nature & some of the children who were there with their parents were extremeful fearful of this mutant & hid behind their parents & yet taking a peep at this strange animal. It got tired & rested under one of the tables. I plucked up my courage, inched my way forward & managed to take this picture of the legless cat as proof for all of you to see. It really has no legs!!!
Gross.
Ja neh!!!

Fort Minor - Where Did You Go
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone...
She said some days I feel like shit.
Some days I wanna quit and just be normal for a bit.
I don't understand why you have to always be gone,
I get along, but the trips always feel so long.
And I find myself tryin' to stay by the phone,
Cuz your voice always helps me when I feel so alone.
But I feel like an idiot workin' my day around the call
But when I pick up I don't have what you say, so...
I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Telling you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singin',
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Please come back home.
Come back home, you know, the place where you used to live?
Used to barbecue burgers and ribs?
Used to have a little party every Halloween with candy by the pile?
But now, you only stop by every once in awhile...shit...
I find myself just fillin' my time,
Do anything to keep the thought of you from my mind.
I'm doing fine, and I'm planning to keep it that way.
And you can call me if you find that you have something to say.
And I'll tell you, I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', at times debatin',
Telling you that I've had it with you and your career,
Me and the rest of the family here singin',
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Please come back home.
I want you to know it's a little fucked up,
That I'm stuck here waitin', no longer debatin',
Tired of sittin' and hatin' and makin' these excuses for why you're not around, and feelin' so useless.
It seems one thing has been true all along,
You don't really know what you've got till it's gone.
I guess I've had it with you and your career.
When you come back, I won't be here, and you can sing it.
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Where'd you go? I miss you so.
Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone.
Please come back home.
Please come back home.
Please come back home.
Please come back home.
Please come back home.

Corrinne May - Mr Beasley
The above video has the embedding function disabled, so here is the URL.
You don't have to drive a fancy car
Don't have to quote me Shakespeare just to woo me
Yeah I see your nervous laughter when you're trying to crack some joke
Well, you don't fool me
I'd like to see your eyes through those goggles that you're wearing
Don't try to hide away
Just be yourself, Mr. Beasley
I don't need your show of attitude
Coz' it's your soul that makes me fall in love with you
You don't know this but I see you in the church when you are praying,
You just move me
And my friend Sue she tells me you've been teaching kids for free
Mr. Philanthropy
I'd like to see your eyes through those goggles that you're wearing
Don't try to hide away
Just be yourself, Mr. Beasley
I don't need your show of attitude
Coz' it's your soul that makes me fall in love with you
Be yourself, Mr. Beasley
I don't need your show of attitude
Coz' it's your soul that makes me fall in love with you
I'd like to see your eyes through those goggles that you're wearing
Don't try to hide away

Care Bears (Care Quest)
The Nintendo DS Lite can play both Game Boy Advance (GBA) games because it has two slots (Slot 1 for DS Lite games & Slot 2 for GBA games, respectively) to insert game cartridges. Yuri wanted to buy this game for the longest time & I told Yuri that research must be done before buying original cartridges, because money is involved & since this precious resource is severely limited in quantity, we must stretch our dollar to as to maximize our utility / satisfaction. (Economics major would know what this is. Right?).
Went to the internet & the search was in vain. Yuri bought the game anyway while I search for a review in my spare time. GBA games tend to be simpler in content & graphics.

Portsmouth 2 Manchester United 1
I is angry. Defensive lapses. Missed chances. Lack of inspiration. Fatigue from playing in Champion's League. On form opposition goalkeeper. So many factors resulting in the first defeat on the back of seven Premiership victories. Lead has been cut to three (superior goal difference might be worth an extra half point). Race blown wide open. Butterflies in stomach.
Hope nothing goes wrong in the Manchester United vs AS Roma match this coming midweek.

Felicia, I will always love you
If she was my S.O., I would definitely "hao hao zuo ren". Damn, I just puked, hearing my own thoughts. Muahahahahaha!!!
I do not have a uniform fetish, much less a SAF female officer fetish, but she looks really hot. As hot as the core of the sun, which is 10 million degrees celsius?

Paul K - Do You Believe
I can lose my self-control this time I'm sure
Meeting your eyes so deep, your eyes so deep
I'm lost
I can touch the sky with both my hands tonight
Stroking your velvet skin, your velvet skin
I never felt so close to heaven
(Chorus)
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?
(Verse 2)
You can tell we'll have a great time yes I'm sure
Under the falling rain, the falling rain
I'm happy
You can tell you'll never be alone tonight
Kissing your lips so soft, your lips so soft
I never felt so close to heaven
(Chorus)
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah.
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah.
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?
(Bridge-Electric Guitar)
A gift from paradise, a gift from paradise yeah
A gift from paradise oh, a gift from paradise yeah
(Chorus)
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah.
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star? Oh yeah.
Do you believe, in a little dream, in a falling star my baby?

BMW 3 Series Convertible price & equipment list
Went to Performance Motors Limited (S'pore) website to find out more about this car & was mildly surprised by the limited models available. Base model 320i will not be brought in. Only the 325i & 335i is available. Manual shifters will also be disappointed. The price was lower than what I expected but it is very high for a 3 Series. Comparable to some of the 5 Series models. The price of luxury. Am I willing to pay this price? Am I able to pay the price? If not, how can I ensure I can do all of the above? Only time will tell.

Ferrari F430 Spyder
Personally I feel this looks better than the Lamborghini Gallardo & it has a smaller engine too. 4.3 litre V8 versus 5.0 litre V10. Nevertheless, every bit as impressive as the Raging Bull. I vote for Prancing Horse anytime. One setback of any Ferrari is that it usually looks best in the tradmark Ferrari Red. Maybe I should get it in midnight blue. Or purple. Or pink.
Maybe it is time to sleep.

2007 BWM 3 Series Convertible
The video is a little boring without the fancy sound effects or any commentry for that matter, but it is rather informative & gives a pretty good idea of the folding roof mechanism, the interior finishes, the exterior lines. Some insight into the road handling can be found, but to me, only experts can tell from the sections where they take the 3 Series Convertible for a spin.
A picture paints a thousand words. A movie clip paints a thousand pictures.
I have been eyeing the Nissan 350Z Roadster for a pretty long time, until i set my sight on the new BMW 3 Series convertible. I always wanted a to cruise along the roads of Singapore, with the roof down & the wind in my hair, with Class 95 playing in the background & my S.O. by my side. A Nissan 350Z Roadster, is frankly quite impractical because it has only 2 seats while the Convertible has 4.
It has a hard top which gives a greater sense of security & of course it is more durable than a soft top which must be replaced every few years at a cost of a few thousand dollars.
The level of interior finishing is definitely above the Nissan & so is the price. I assume it would be around SGD$250000 for the 325i Convertible from what I have seen but my guess is as good as anybody's.
The colour shown in the pictures (champagne gold???) is quite elegant. What do you think is the
best colour for this car?
Standard equipment for the 325i Convertible includes
- seat heating for driver and front passenger,
- premium Dakota leather upholstery with SunReflective technology,
- Bi-Xenon headlamps,
- Brake Force Display two-stage brake lights,
- 17-inch light alloy wheels,
- BMW Business navigation system with colour monitor,
- six-stacker CD player,
- rear Park Distance Control,
- automatic climate control,
- extended lights package for interior illumination,
- cruise control with brake function,
- Bluetooth mobile phone preparation.
- Sports seats for driver and front passenger,
- Active Steering,
- Sport Suspension,
- 18 or 19-inch light alloy wheels,
- Adaptive Headlights,
- Active Cruise Control,
- High Beam Assist
- LOGIC7 sound system.
- Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) which incorporates DTC Dynamic Traction Control,
- CBC Cornering Brake Control
- DBC Dynamic Brake Control,
- Dual front airbags and front seat integrated side airbags with combined head airbags complete the passive safety list.
