Omurice

Went out with Shan just before the start of the holidays & long weekend to get some new clothes, or was it just a meet-up after not having seen each other for some time liao. I can't recall. She's busy with her FYP, I'm busy just trying to get from day to day. So finally we had some breathing space so we met up in Orchard as it was both centralized in terms of location & also because it had everything (almost everything, actually). Was kind of hungry as it approached dinner time, so we decided to have lunch. Thought of going to our usual lunch hangout (Sakae Sushi), but we passed by this stall in the basement of Takashima (food court area) so decided to give this a try. A bit on the pricy side (out set cost 8 sgd & comes with a bottled brink like Just Peach Tea & Pokka Green Tea), but the food is made only when ordered & it was o-ee-shi (delicious)!!! This is omurice, a popular food in Nippon (which means japan in japanese, so now u know Nippon Paint literaly means Japan Paint). I had taken an interest to it because I remember seeing this being mentioned in a Japanese drama called "Lunch Queen". Omurice:
