PSP Game (Infected)

Bought a new PSP game. Been looking out for this for a while. I do have a list of the games I wanna buy, so if any of you guys want to get me a present, please do drop an email at junkie2807@yahoo.com.sg to ask what games I have not gotten. They generally cost between 72sgd to 95sgd for the newer games. Anything below this price range is cheap, anything above is considered a premium.

You are Officer XXX (you will be asked to fill in a profile name) Stevens, a rookie cop who gets caught up in the apocalypse two weeks before Christmas. A virus is sweeping through New Yock City turning people into flesh-hungry zombies. At the City's tree-lighting ceremony you were sent to guard undercover, the Infected sweep through the crowd, tearing people limb to limb, and you get bitten.

Hours later, you're found unconscious by the New York Bio Team (the agency responsible for dealing with the spread of viruses) as they investigate the aftermath of the ceremony. They take you back to their lab and, led by Dr Schaeffer (hereafter referred to as "DS"), the city's leading authroity on Infectious Zombieism, run some tests.

DS and his team discover that you and you alone are immune to the virus. And what's more, your immunity is so powerful that it's deadly to anyone who has been infected. Just a drop of your blood, if shot into the bloodstream of one of the zombies, causes their blood to boil until they explode, splatting spectacularly.

This is particularly good news because throughout the city, cops are throwing everything they have at the Infected with no effect - they're shooting at them with shotguns, tanks, machine guns, the whole works, and the infected just don't die.

Knowing a good thing when he sees it, DS rigs up a special weapon he calls a "viral gun" that pulls blood straight from your veins and pumps them into bullets. His early experiments with the gun are unsuccessful, however. When he first shoots an Infected with the viral gun, the shell breaks on the surface of the skin and has no effect.

DS then tries a different route. Grabbing his shotgun, DS blasts an Infected a couple of times. As the Infected staggers around, still alive, DS hits it with the viral gun. Now weakened by the shotgun, the shell breaks the skin and disperses your blood into its bloodstream. SPLAT! The Infected paints the walls with its guts.

From this simple experiment, the plan to save New York City and Christmas was born.

Scary Santa!!! Anyway above was taken from the manual that came with the game. It's region 1 (USA) so all of the stuff is in English. Region 3 (Asia) games are a bit complicated if they only have Chinese or Japanese instructions. Michelle & I bought Tenchi no mon (Kingdom of Paradise, will post more later) & the dialogue was in Japanese & the words were in Chinese. We had a had time trying to figure out what was going on.

Ja neh!!!
